Independent Tours

Calypso Island Tours offers a diverse variety of tours for the independent traveler, with any day departures. The themes of these tours range from butterflies and butterfly gardens in Costa Rica (Butterfly Garden Adventure), observing the nesting behavior of marine turtles in Costa Rica (Wildlife Adventure) to butterflies, bugs and birds in Thailand (Thai Wildlife Adventure). We are also are offering botanical/tropical garden tours to Thailand and Costa Rica for the independent traveler. Again, most of these tours feature small, local first class hotels for your comfort and involve a moderate amount of leisurely walking. For the most part, these tours are not escorted but English-speaking naturalist guides will accompany you to many of the venues that you will visit. All the independent tours are customizable; basically we can design a special literary for you based on your particular interests and requirements.
