Wow, the idea of the Four Seasons tented camp blows me away. Almost 1400 dollars a night to stay in a tent!??! Though taking a look at the pictures in the link provided, they aren't really tents I suppose.
The pictures also bring to mind a scene from the 1920's or something with rich people on safari in Africa with 20 or so Luis Vuitton hard suitcases being carried around by natives.

I do love the Four Seasons, but I don't know if I am prepared to pay that much to stay in a tent.

Tks for the update re Nan hotels - there has never been anywhere much to stay. I stayed at Nan Boutique on July 2 - certainly better than anything else in town. Once their restaurant opens, which I am told will be soon, it will be my preferred place in Nan. I am typing this from Bo Klua View resort, which to my mind is a hidden gem. Charming bungalows, great location and good food. I am paying the low season rate of $US35, including an excellent breakfast, the same rate as I paid for Nan Boutique. Even at a higher rate for the high season I still consider it good value for a special experience.
