A new way of recycling phone cards!
While staying at Malee’s Guesthouse in Chiang Dao, I noticed that she uses old plastic phone cards as key holders. I found this to be an ingenious and resourceful idea. Instead of throwing these plastic cards away where they are eventually burned, thereby releasing toxic gases into the biosphere, these colorful cards are in essence recycled. Ms. Malee informed me that a number of guesthouses utilize the old phone cards as key holders. I wish all the hotels would follow Malee’s lead.
